Holiday Beach Fellowship Church

Holiday Beach Fellowship Church was established in 1971 as a Baptist church and built by all volunteers. Originally named First Baptist Church of Holiday Beach, the sanctuary was dedicated on December 2, 1975. The congregation thrived and soon, the Fellowship Hall, dedicated to Lorraine Bourland, wife of long-time pastor Jack Bourland, was added.

In 2017, Hurricane Harvey destroyed the original sanctuary and rebuilding was difficult. The congregation now meets in the Fellowship Hall as we rebuild our sanctuary.

In 2022, the congregation elected to change the Baptist affiliation and the name to Holiday Beach Fellowship Church. We are an independent non-denominational church where the foundational doctrines of the Bible are taught and preached. We welcome Christians of all faiths. We desire to lead people to Christ through witness and evangelism and to bring honor and glory to God in our daily lives so that we may bring others to salvation. God worked His miracles by bringing us forward, leading us to embrace the denomination change so that we may better serve our growing community. He is growing our church in so many positive ways. We look forward to our future, serving the spiritual needs of Holiday Beach and the surrounding areas.

Pastor David Fischer is currently the pastor and provides our spiritual worship services. Pastor David and his wife, Jo Wilson are from Aransas Pass, TX.

We ask that you join us on Sunday at 11:00 AM for a Bible-based Worship Service and bring a friend. We look forward to seeing you!
